Even with careful brushing, plaque builds up in places a toothbrush can’t reach and hardens into tartar. Tartar can only be removed with dental instruments. Left in place, it irritates the gums and causes bleeding, bad breath and, over time, gum disease. It is the simplest way to keep your teeth healthy, and the most common reason families visit our dental clinic in Krishna Nagar.

Breath that stays unpleasant even after brushing is usually caused by bacteria trapped in tartar and gum pockets. A professional teeth cleaning removes these deposits and is often the quickest way to freshen breath.
Yellow or brown deposits along the gumline are hardened plaque, called tartar or calculus. It cannot be brushed away at home and needs ultrasonic scaling at a dental clinic to remove it safely.
Tea, coffee, paan, tobacco and some foods leave surface stains that dull your smile. Scaling and polishing removes most of these stains, so your teeth look cleaner and brighter after a single visit.
Puffy, tender or dark-red gums are a sign of inflammation caused by plaque build-up. Left untreated, this can progress to gum disease, so a timely dental check-up and cleaning is important.
Most dentists recommend a check-up and cleaning every six months. Regular visits catch cavities and gum problems early, when treatment is simpler, quicker and costs less than waiting until something hurts.
